  • The Suns are 32-37 and are one game out of the play-in spot in the Western Conference.
  • Cleveland is 56-12 and has the best record in the Eastern Conference.
  • These teams last played on Jan. 20, with the Cavaliers claiming a 118-92 victory.

One of the games on Friday’s NBA slate features the Phoenix Suns hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers. Will Phoenix extend its win streak to three games in our Suns vs Cavaliers pick?

Suns Eyeing Play-In Spot Out West

After dropping a 107-96 decision against the Los Angeles Lakers on Mar. 16, the Suns enter this matchup amid a two-game winning streak, including a 127-121 victory against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.

Devin Booker was the head cog for an offense in which four starters reached double figures. He scored a game-high 41 points on 14-for-26 shooting overall and 6-for-12 from beyond the arc. He also collected four rebounds and handed out seven assists.

Kevin Durant added 26 points, eight assists, and four rebounds, while Nick Richards finished with 18 points and nine boards.

Phoenix held a 15-point advantage in the final frame before Chicago cut the deficit to 121-117 with 27 seconds left. But thanks to Booker scoring seven points down the stretch, the Suns held on for a six-point victory.

Cavaliers Look To Snap Three-Game Slide

Following a stretch in which they won 16 straight games, the Cavaliers have dropped three consecutive games for just the second time this season.

Their latest setback includes a 123-119 defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Evan Mobley was the team’s key performer, finishing with 31 points and 10 rebounds on 13-for-18 shooting from the field and 4-for-5 from 3-point range.

Donovan Mitchell added 26 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Dean Wade and Max Strus chipped in with 12 points each.

Cleveland led by as many as 15 points early on. However, the Kings battled back to take a two-point lead into the fourth quarter.

In the waning moments of the contest, DeMar DeRozan made back-to-back baskets to give Sacramento a 119-116 advantage, helping this squad win its second straight game following a four-game skid.

Suns vs Cavaliers Pick: Will Cleveland Snap Its Losing Streak?

The Suns, who are one game out of the final play-in spot, have split their last 10 games. Although they are not a great defensive team, they have the eighth-best offense in the league.

On the other side of the matchup, despite their three-game slide, the Cavaliers have produced eight wins across their previous 10 outings. Additionally, the Cavs are ranked eighth in defensive rating and boast the top offense in the association.

Cleveland won the last head-to-head matchup by 26 points. After coming up short against the Kings, look for the Cavaliers to rebound with a convincing win against Phoenix.
