Sixers Look To Regroup Following 14-Point Loss Against New York

After beating the Dallas Mavericks 130-125 on Mar. 16, the Sixers have dropped their last nine games, including a 105-91 setback against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.

Quentin Grimes was one of three starters who reached double figures. His final stat line included 26 points, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals.

Ricky Council IV logged 15 points and five rebounds, and Lonnie Walker IV contributed 11 points, seven boards, and four dimes.

The key moment of this contest occurred late in the third quarter. Philadelphia had trimmed a 17-point deficit to eight points. But in the final seconds of the third period, Josh Hart hit a key bucket as time expired, giving the home team a 10-point advantage heading into the final frame.

Bucks Aim To Remain Dominant Against Philly

On Tuesday, Milwaukee recently ended its four-game skid with a 133-123 victory against the Phoenix Suns. All five starters scored in double figures. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 37 points on 12-for-18 shooting from the floor and 11-for-12 from the charity stripe. He also handed out 11 assists and collected five rebounds and three steals.

Ryan Rollins finished with 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals. Brook Lopez chipped in with 22 points, six rebounds, and six assists for a Milwaukee team that shot 68.9 percent overall and 58.6 percent from beyond the arc.

The Bucks led by as many as 22 points in the second half before Grayson Allen’s 3-pointer trimmed the lead to 124-120 with 1:20 left in regulation. On the next possession, Hollins knocked down a 3-pointer, giving the home team some breathing room down the stretch.

Sixers vs Bucks Pick: Who Has The Edge In This Eastern Conference Matchup?

As expected, the Sixers have struggled without their top three scorers in the rotation. They have dropped nine of their last 10 games and are ranked in the bottom third at both ends of the court.

On the other hand, the Bucks have gone 4-6 across their previous 10 outings and are a mediocre group at both ends of the floor, ranking 13th in scoring and 13th in points allowed.

Milwaukee has won seven straight in this series. Given that Philly is missing multiple key players, that trend will continue when these teams clash at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.
