Pacers vs Knicks Game 3 Recap

After earning two road wins to kick off this Eastern Conference Finals series, the Indiana Pacers seemed well on their way to going up 3-0. Unfortunately, the home team could not seal the deal down the stretch and wound up on the wrong end of an improbable 106-100 defeat.

Tyrese Haliburton scored a team-high 20 points, along with seven assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

Myles Turner added 19 points and four rebounds, while Pascal Siakam finished with 17 points and collected four rebounds.

On the other side, the Knicks’ offense featured four players who reached double figures. Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

Jalen Brunson scored 23 points, but converted just six of his 18 shot attempts, marking his worst shooting performance of the series thus far. OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively.

Not only did Indiana hold a double-digit lead going into the final frame, but Brunson was relegated to the bench after picking up his fifth foul.

It didn’t matter, though, as Towns poured in 20 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter, helping New York overcome a 20-point deficit for the third time this postseason.

Pacers vs Knicks Game 4 Pick: Does Indy Learn From Late-Game Miscues?

Despite the gut-wrenching loss two nights ago, the Pacers enter this matchup as a slim two-point favorite (per BetOnline). Here are a few betting trends for both sides looking ahead to Game 4.

  • The Pacers are 8-2 straight-up (SU) in their last 10 games.
  • Indiana is 4-1 against the spread in its previous five outings.
  • New York is 6-2 overall when playing as the underdog.
  • The Knicks are 7-1 ATS in their previous eight road matchups.

Give the Knicks credit for rallying from a huge deficit to take Game 3. However, Indiana’s late-game execution will be much better, propelling them to victory when these teams square off on Thursday night.
