Bucks Enter This Showdown Off An Impressive Showing Against Los Angeles

Following a three-game losing skid, the Bucks bounced back with a 126-106 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.

Giannis Antetokounmpo paced the team’s offense with 24 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.

Brook Lopez scored 23 points and collected five rebounds. Damian Lillard finished with 22 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds, and Keven Porter Jr. added 22 points off the bench.

Despite trailing most the game, the Lakers remained within striking distance. But thanks to a 24-7 run, the Bucks turned a 76-70 lead into a 100-77 advantage late in the third quarter.

Pacers Shooting For Third Straight Victory

After dropping two games against the Atlanta Hawks and suffering a 121-103 loss to the Chicago Bulls, the Pacers enter this divisional showdown amid a two-game winning streak. This includes a 112-100 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Pascal Siakam spearheaded an offense in which four of the starters reached double figures. His final stat line included 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.

Myles Turner logged 18 points and seven rebounds. Aaron Nesmith added 16 points and Tyrese Haliburton chipped in with 14 points, 10 dimes, and five boards.

Leading 78-75 entering the fourth quarter, the Pacers broke the game open courtesy of a 12-2 run that extended their lead to 13 points.

With several key players out of the rotation, the Sixers could not sustain their early success, as they were outscored by 16 points in the second half.

Bucks vs Pacers Pick: Bucks Win A Close One

The Bucks have gone 6-4 in their last 10 games. On the other hand, Indiana has split its previous 10 contests.

From an offensive standpoint, the Bucks are ranked 13th in both points per contest and offensive efficiency. However, Milwaukee is a top-10 defensive team.

Meanwhile, the Pacers are 19th in points allowed, but they have the ninth-best defensive rating in the association. Milwaukee has won two of the three matchups between these teams, and that trend will continue on Saturday night.
