One of the games on Saturday’s NBA slate features the Milwaukee Bucks hosting the Orlando Magic. Can Milwaukee stay hot in our Bucks vs Magic pick?
Bucks Shooting For Fifth Straight Victory
Milwaukee dropped a 100-97 decision against the Houston Rockets on Feb. 25. Since that hiccup, though, the team has won each of its last four games, including a 137-107 blowout victory against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
Damian Lillard spearheaded the offense with 34 points, five assists, and three rebounds. He shot 11-for-15 from the field and 5-for-8 from beyond the arc.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points and pulled down 15 rebounds on 60 percent shooting from the floor. The two-time MVP also surpassed the 20,000-point threshold.
The Mavericks led 19-18 in the first quarter, but thanks to an 18-3 burst, Milwaukee ended the opening stanza with a 13-point advantage and never looked back.
Magic Hope To End Five-Game Skid
After an impressive 3-1 stretch in mid-February, the Magic have dropped their previous five contests, including a 125-123 defeat at the hands of the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.
Paolo Banchero headlined an offense in which every starter reached double figures. He scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
Cole Anthony added 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists, while Franz Wagner and Wendell Carter Jr. chipped in with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
Orlando held a five-point advantage through three quarters. However, the injury-depleted Bulls responded with a 29-22 scoring edge in the fourth quarter, improving their road record to 14-16.
Bucks vs Magic Pick: Milwaukee Adds To Orlando’s Misery
The Bucks are ranked 11th in points per game and are a top-10 team at the other end of the floor. This squad has also gone 8-2 across its last 10 outings.
On the other side of this Eastern Conference matchup, Orlando is averaging a league-worst 104.5 points per contest. Despite leading the field in points allowed and defensive rating, the Magic have dropped seven of their previous ten games.
Milwaukee has caught first as of late and has won the previous three matchups between these franchises. With that in mind, look for the Bucks to extend their win streak to five games.
