G3 Honeybee Stakes (Oaklawn R9- 5:07 PM ET)

The first of three graded races on the card at Oaklawn comes in the form of the Honeybee Stakes. This race is run by horses aged three over 1 1/16 miles. Muhimma will be a hot favorite for the Brad Cox barn, but there could be value elsewhere in the market.

Take Charge Milady looks to be a progressive runner from the Kenneth McPeek yard, and the three-year-old filly has improved on every start to this point.

She has excelled since being stepped up in distance, breaking her maiden over a mile at Oaklawn, before scoring in the Martha Washington over course and distance. Connections have a fine record at the track, and she ticks plenty of boxes this weekend.

G3 Razorback Handicap (Oaklawn R10- 5:45 PM ET)

The big betting race of the day is the G3 Razorback Handicap, which has attracted a field of 14 runners. Plenty have leading claims, including First Mission off top weight for the Brad Cox team.

However, a chance is taken on Red Route One for Steven Asmussen. The five-year-old has been a consistent performer at the highest level, including when winning the G3 Cornhusker Handicap last July. Drops back in trip today after finishing fourth on his comeback in the Tinsel Stakes.

Has high-quality form at the highest level over this trip, including when second behind Saudi Crown at Fair Grounds in the G3 Louisiana. Was second on this card two years ago when narrowly behind Confidence Game in the G2 Rebel Stakes. Big player.

Carousel Stakes (Oaklawn R4- 2:31 PM ET)

The first stakes race on the card at Oaklawn this Sunday is the Carousel Stakes, which is due off at 2:31 PM ET. Fillies and mares aged four and older will compete over six furlongs, with nine runners set to go to post.

Lady Moscato could be the interesting chance for the D. Wayne Lukas team. The four-year-old filly has won three from 18 starts, but made a winning return to the track at Oaklawn Park last month when landing the Bugler Overnight Stakes.

She is a three-time winner over course and distance and could be the obvious chance against a field of runners that are unproven at Oaklawn Park.
