We are getting into the final stretch of the Premier League this season, and everything is yet to be decided. There are huge games at both ends of the league standings this weekend, and you can find our soccer picks for the fixtures taking place this weekend below.

Rare Quiet Saturday Of Action

There aren’t many games in the Premier League on Saturday due to the mid-week round of fixtures on Thursday. However, the standout fixture is Manchester United hosting Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Both sides have hopes of finishing in the top-four this season, but it’s unlikely that both will be able to achieve that feat.

United are looking for a third straight win against Spurs this weekend for the first time in over ten years. However, the visitors have won two of their previous three games at the Theatre of Dreams, which is as many as they managed in their previous 26. However, defensively, United certainly need to improve as they lost by three or more goals for the third time last weekend against Manchester City. Things just aren’t right at Old Trafford, and Spurs could be the value play at +240.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Brentford host Burnley. The Clarets desperately need the points from this fixture to move out of the relegation places in the Premier League. The Bees have lost their last four home games against Burnley, with their latest defeat coming back in January 2016.

Burnley are also unbeaten in their previous six matches against Brentford, and will be looking to complete their second ever double against their rivals. The Clarets at +275 looks a decent bet.

Champions League Race & Relegation Scraps On Sunday

There are important points up for grabs in the race for the top four and battle to avoid relegation on Sunday. The first game that we will look at is Arsenal’s match against Leicester. The Gunners will be looking for a first double over the Foxes since 2015-16, and their recent form has been stunning. No side has won more points over their previous ten fixtures in the league.

Leicester’s 1-0 win at the Emirates last season ended a 23-game winless run away at the North London giants, but it’s hard to see them picking up a second straight win at Arsenal. Leicester have conceded 63 goals against the Gunners, which is their second highest tally against a Premier League opponent. Arsenal looks the safe play at -200.

The final game that we will look at this weekend is Leeds United’s home fixture against Norwich City. The Whites can not afford to lose this game, as their position in the top-flight will come under more pressure. However, Leeds haven’t done the league double over Norwich since 1980-81.

The Canaries won on their last fixture to Elland Road in 2019, and have won six of their previous nine games played in Yorkshire. Regardless, Leeds have an excellent record against newly promoted sides since returning to the Premier League, as they have won six of the seven fixtures that they have played. We could see them maintaining that run on Sunday.

Premier League Picks:

  • Tottenham Hotspur @ +240
  • Burnley @ +275
  • Arsenal @ -200
  • Leeds United @ -175
