  • Tampa Bay came up short against the Eagles on Sunday, losing to them 31-25.
  • The Seahawks won their third game in a row, taking down the Cardinals 23-20.
  • These teams last met on November 13, 2022, in a game that the Bucs won 21-16.

The Buccaneers and Seahawks face off this week in a game between a pair of playoff hopefuls in the NFC. Seattle is seeking their fourth win in a row against a Tampa Bay team that will be without Bucky Irving.

Buccaneers Seek Bounce Back Win

Tampa Bay took their first defeat of the season on Sunday, falling at home to the also unbeaten Eagles. The final score was closer than the game itself, with the Buccaneers trailing by 2-3 scores for most of the game. They’ll be aiming to bounce back in Seattle, but face an uphill battle. Backup RB Rachaad White will play a key role in filling in for the injured Bucky Irving and providing an extra option in the backfield for Mayfield.

Seahawks Eye Up 4th Win in a Row

The Seahawks won once again on Sunday, improving to 3-1. They’ve looked like one of the best teams in the NFL in the three weeks since losing their opener to the 49ers. WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba has once again been the standout on offense with 26 receptions for 402 yards through four games. Their biggest asset, however, has surprisingly been the defense. Seattle’s run defense has been especially capable this season.

Buccaneers vs Seahawks NFL Pick

Two 3-1 teams clash in what could end up being one of the week’s best games. Tampa Bay faces an uphill battle on the road in Seattle, especially without RB Bucky Irving. One might expect Seattle to continue their winning streak based on that, but I can’t shake the feeling that the Seahawks are due for a loss. The Buccaneers are one of the best teams in close games. I see them winning this matchup by a field goal.
