Aces Outlast Fever In Semifinals

Although Las Vegas faced an opponent missing several key players, it was pushed to the brink for the second straight round. Fortunately, they punched their ticket to the WNBA Finals, courtesy of a 107-98 win over Indiana in Game 5 of the semifinals.

The Aces led by eight points through the first three quarters. But the Fever won the scoring battle 23-15 in the final frame to force an extra session. Las Vegas took an early lead in the overtime period and never looked back.

A’ja Wilson, the league MVP, finished with 35 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four steals, and four blocks. Jackie Young added 32 points and handed out 10 assists.

Alyssa Thomas powered the offense with 23 points and 10 assists. Satou Sabally finished with 21 points, six boards, and three assists.
