The Lynx and Sky meet on Saturday in an intriguing clash. Both teams have lost key stars to injury and will field a next-woman-up mentality. Minnesota is favored to win this matchup on the road.

Minnesota has looked solid in the early going of the 2026 WNBA season, despite losing several key pieces in the offseason and being without star Napheesa Collier. They improved to 3-2 following an excellent all-around performance against the red-hot Tempo. The Lynx showcased their depth of talent as five players reached double figures, led by Maya Caldwell off the bench with 15. They'll aim to keep the momentum up in Chicago.
Chicago lost their home opener against the Wings on Wednesday, struggling to slow down their offense. They were feeling the absence of Rickea Jackson who suffered a season-ending ACL injury in their previous matchup against the Lynx. The Sky won their first clash with Minnesota on the road but still enter the home rematch as the underdog. Even without Jackson, the Sky have talent, including the return of Azura Stevens.
Chicago got the better of Minnesota on Sunday and now enters the rematch as the underdog. Partially due to the loss of Rickea Jackson and partly due to Minnesota's performance against the Tempo, they received a juicy line at home against a team they already beat on the road. After shooting lights out against the Tempo, the Lynx are likely to come down to earth in this game. Take the Sky to pull off the upset at home in this one.
