The Saints and Dolphins clash this week in an NFC/AFC matchup. Miami is holding on to a small postseason chance, while New Orleans is all but eliminated. The Dolphins are favored at home.

The Saints lost by a couple of touchdowns to the Falcons on Sunday, sending them back into the loss column. It wasn't a great result for a team that had been finally starting to show some fight. New Orleans will aim to bounce back this week against the Dolphins. QB Tyler Shough went 30 for 43 for 243 yards and an interception in the loss. He'll look to put that result behind him and return to his prior level of success.

Miami was moving in the right direction ahead of their bye last week, but still faces an uphill climb to get back into playoff contention. They can afford no more than one additional loss at the most if they want to try and sneak into the field. The Dolphins last two victories were both defensive triumphs, after starting out with one of the NFL's worst defenses. They'll look to keep up that trend this week against the Saints.

The Saints and Dolphins are both on the cusp of playoff elimination, though Miami entered this season with much higher hopes than New Orleans. While expecting them to win out and make the postseason may be a near-impossible ask, the Dolphins should be able to continue their winning ways for a couple more weeks. Look for Miami to jump ahead in this one early at home and never stop to look back.
