WWE Evolution 2 Picks, Odds, and Preview (July 13)

The second edition of the all-female WWE PLE is set for Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend, as WWE Evolution 2 is staged at the State Farm Arena.

An excellent card of matches is set for the show, which previously made history back in 2018 when it became the first WWE PPV exclusively for female superstars. You can find the odds and our picks for the standout matches on the card here.

Iyo Sky vs. Rhea Ripley Odds & Pick

The Raw Women’s Championship will be defended this weekend, as Iyo Sky takes on Rhea Ripley.

Sky has been the champion since defeating Ripley on Raw earlier this year, before successfully defending the gold against the same opponent and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. The champion hasn’t defended the gold since that night in Las Vegas, and she hand-picked Ripley as her opponent for Sunday.

Despite being the outsider, we like the chances of Sky to retain this weekend before defending the championship at SummerSlam against potentially Roxanne Perez.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus Odds & Pick

Tiffany Stratton will defend the Women’s SmackDown Championship at Evolution this weekend against Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.

The duo previously teamed up to gain a win at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, and Stratus’ involvement this weekend does give the show some much-needed star power. It also promises to add some sparkle to Stratton’s ill-fated title reign, which has been short of memorable moments.

Despite that, we struggle to overlook the champion making a successful defense in Atlanta.

Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria Odds & Pick

It could be argued that the triple threat for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship should serve as the main event this weekend, as the battles between the stars have made for the most compelling segments on Raw in recent weeks.

Their rivalry dates back to Mania, as Lynch took out Bayley to take her place to team with Valkyria to win the tag team titles. However, the duo lost the gold on the following night’s edition of Raw.

Lynch then turned heel, attacking Valkyria, before winning the Intercontinental gold on the second attempt at Money in the Bank. Bayley returned to attack Lynch, and sparked a rivalry with her former teammate in the process.

This will be a match of the night contender, but it is likely that Lynch will make a first successful title defense in Atlanta.
