  • The Indiana Fever are 6-6 following a double-digit loss to the Golden State Valkyries.
  • These squads previously faced off on Sep. 13, 2024, with the Aces winning that contest by a 78-74 margin.

One of the games on Sunday’s WNBA slate features the Las Vegas Aces hosting the Indiana Fever. Can Las Vegas get back into the win column in our Aces vs Fever pick?

Las Vegas Looks To Snap Its Longest Losing Streak Of The Season

After narrowly defeating the Dallas Wings by four points on Jun. 13, the Aces have dropped their last three contests. This includes a 90-83 setback against the Seattle Storm on Friday night.

Jackie Young spearheaded an offense in which four players reached double figures. She finished with 22 points, five assists, and four rebounds on 8-for-13 shooting overall and an efficient 4-for-6 effort from beyond the arc.

A’ja Wilson, who missed the last three games (concussion protocol), scored 22 points and pulled down 14 rebounds. Jewell Loyd chipped in with 15 points and four assists.

The game was close through the first three quarters, with Seattle clinging to a 67-66 lead heading into the final frame. Unfortunately, Las Vegas produced just three points in the final five and a half minutes, which allowed Seattle to pull away down the stretch.

The Fever Aim To Bounce Back From Double-Digit Loss To Golden State

Indiana’s two-game win streak came to an end with an 88-77 loss to the Golden State Valkyries on Thursday night.

Aliyah Boston was one of four starters who reached double figures, finishing with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell contributed 16 points, converting six of her 11 attempts, while Clark was held to 11 points on a 3-of-14 effort from the field.

The Fever led 21-12 after the opening stanza. However, Golden State trimmed the deficit to four points heading into the fourth quarter. And in the final frame, the home team won the scoring battle 33-18 en route to securing the victory in the debut matchup between the two franchises.

Aces vs Fever WNBA Pick

Las Vegas is ranked ninth in both offensive and defensive efficiency. Meanwhile, Indiana is ranked fourth in points per game and fifth in scoring defense, allowing 77.9 points per contest.

The Aces went 4-0 against the Fever last season. On the other hand, they enter this matchup having dropped five of their previous six games, while the Fever have gone 4-2 in their last six outings.

With that in mind, Indiana edges out the competition by a slim margin in this matchup.
