The Bucks trailed by 11 points entering the fourth quarter before trimming the deficit to 105-102. But Aaron Gordon iced the game for Denver with three free throws in the final nine seconds after AJ Green and Ryan Hollins both missed from three-point range.
Giannis Antetokoumpo flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 31 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds. Myles Turner added 14 points and collected five rebounds.
The Timberwolves are coming off a come-from-behind victory against the San Antonio Spurs.
Minnesota trailed by 14 points through the first 36 minutes of action. However, the host team produced a 33-18 surge in the fourth, capped off by the game-winning jumper from Anthony Edwards.
Edwards led the way with 23 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo contributed 19 points, nine boards, and seven dimes on 5-for-12 shooting from 3-point range.
