Wrexham Set Sights on History

It has been another astonishing season in the history of Wrexham, and a fourth straight promotion could yet be on the cards.

However, more history could be made on Friday, as the Welsh club will be looking to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1996-97.

Wrexham’s form has been incredibly eye-catching since the end of December, losing just twice in their last nine. In the previous round of the competition, the Welsh club knocked out Nottingham Forest on penalties following a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Meanwhile, Ipswich have recorded five wins in their last seven in the Championship. The Tractor Boys claimed a hard-fought 2-1 home win over League One Blackpool in the previous round.

Wrexham vs. Ipswich Picks

Only the second meeting between Ipswich and Wrexham since 2007 will be staged on Friday. Wrexham have been inconsistent in home games this term, winning just 38% of their fixtures. Therefore, the in-form Tractor Boys could be the logical play to book their spot in the fifth round draw.
