Midweek action in the Premier League is set, as an important clash in the race for Champions League qualification is set for Molineux, as Wolves host Liverpool.
Arne Slot’s Reds have shown excellent quality in recent weeks, winning each of their last four in all competitions. A victory on Tuesday could see them end the night as high as third.
Wolves will take huge confidence from their latest outing, recording a second league win of the campaign against local rivals Aston Villa.

Wolves Chasing Successive Wins
It has been a challenging campaign in the top-flight for Wolves, and their relegation to the Championship will be confirmed in the near future.
However, plenty of positives can be taken from their recent outings, which includes a recent 2-0 win over Aston Villa. That was their second win in four in all competitions, while Rob Edwards’ side have suffered just one loss in their last five.
Interestingly, Wolves have an excellent strike rate in EPL matches played on a Tuesday, winning seven of their last nine at Molineux. However, Wolves will likely need to make a faster start on Tuesday after failing to score in the opening 45 minutes of their last nine.

Reds in Strong Position in European Race
Arne Slot’s Liverpool will be hoping to end the night as high as third in the Premier League standings.
The Reds have bounced back to their best form in recent weeks, winning each of their last four in all competitions since losing against Man City. Liverpool’s offensive players sparkled on Saturday, with the team scoring five despite having just six shots on target against West Ham. Like Wolves, the Reds have struggled to score in the first 45 minutes of matches this season, with just 14% of their efforts on the road being scored in the first half.
Despite their strong overall form, Liverpool have struggled to create chances on the road recently, with all four of their latest efforts being registered directly from set pieces.
