- Arsenal bidding to bounce back after drawing two of their last three away games
- Wolves are 18 points adrift of safety in the Premier League
Midweek action is set for the Premier League on Feb 18, as Arsenal bid to extend their advantage at the summit to seven points when they face rock-bottom Wolves.
The Gunners have been frustrated in recent away matches, playing out draws at Nottingham Forest and Brentford.
Wolves already look destined for relegation this term, but a glimmer of hope can be taken from the fact that they have kept clean sheets in their last two competitive fixtures.

Wolves Hoping to Upset the Odds
It has been a miserable campaign in the Premier League for Rob Edwards and his Wolves side. Relegation to the second tier looks highly likely at this stage, having won just one of their 26 EPL fixtures.
Wolves have already lost ten of their 13 at Molineux in 2025-26, but they will take confidence following a 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest and a 1-0 FA Cup win over Grimsby Town.
Offensively, Wolves have shown little throughout the season, scoring just 0.85 per home fixture from an xG of 1.21. Defensively, they have conceded 2.15 per clash at Molineux, and that is a major concern ahead of the visit of the table-topping Gunners.

Gunners Aiming to Avoid Handing City Advantage
This midweek clash is a huge night for Arsenal, as a defeat could enable Man City to close on the summit to within a point should they win a game in hand.
The Gunners have stuttered in recent weeks, failing to win in three of their last five in the Premier League. In fact, they were slightly fortunate to escape Brentford with a point in their last league outing. The Gunners have been less assured on their travels, winning seven of their 13 compared to ten wins in the same number at the Emirates.
However, it is worth assessing their strong defensive record, having kept clean sheets in 46% of their games on the road in 2025-26.

Wolves vs. Arsenal Picks
Despite a recent wobble, it is hard to overlook the away win when making Wolves vs. Arsenal picks. The Gunners have won nine of their last eleven away matches against Wolves, and the North London club have scored at least once in each of their last 36 encounters against their opponents in all competitions.
