Interesting action is set for the MLS on April 11, as the Vancouver Whitecaps go in search of a second straight victory when they host New York City FC.
The Caps have made a reliable start to the campaign, and they will be heavily favored to overcome a stuttering opponent with home field advantage this Saturday.

The Vancouver Whitecaps have enjoyed a consistent start to the new MLS season, but it is hasn’t been without its challenges. The Caps have already exited the CONCACAF Champions Cup, while their unbeaten start to the MLS campaign was ended at the end of March against San Jose.
However, they showed excellent character to bounce back to form last time after beating the Portland Timbers 3-2 at BC Place. The Caps have been offensively strong in their home games this term, scoring an incredible 2.6 goals per game, and conceding a low average of 0.6. Brian White has made an electric start to the campaign, scoring a team-high five goals.

New York City FC will be the visitors to Vancouver this weekend, as they aim to snap a two-game winless run. They avoided a second straight defeat in their most recent outing, as they played out a credible 1-1 home draw against St. Louis.
NYCFC will take confidence from their away record, as they have avoided defeat in their two fixtures on the road. However, a lofty xGA average of 1.59 would be a concern against such a talented attacking opponent on Saturday.

NYCFC’s defensive record has been alarming this season, and they could be punished against one of the best attacking teams in the MLS this weekend. Therefore, a victory for the hosts is the most logical betting angle on Saturday.
