Former Juventus and Lazio boss Igor Tudor has been handpicked by Tottenham in a desperate bid to salvage what could yet be a disastrous campaign. Spurs sit just five points clear of the drop zone, having won just seven of their 26 EPL fixtures.
Tottenham have failed to win in their last eight league matches, marking their worst winless run since November 2007. Meanwhile, Spurs are currently the only team in the top-flight without a win this calendar year.
A main reason for their struggles has been their overreliance on goals from defenders, contributing to 28% of their total efforts in 2025-26.

Arsenal have finished runners-up in the last three seasons, and history is showing signs of repeating itself.
Chants of ‘Second Again’ were heard from the Wolves fans on Wednesday, as the Gunners threw away a 2-0 lead in the final 20 minutes of their clash with the team sitting rock-bottom of the Premier League standings. The draw means that the title advantage is now firmly with Man City, with Pep Guardiola’s side crowned champions if they win all remaining fixtures.
However, this could be a good opportunity to bounce back to form and build morale at the same time. Arsenal have lost just one of their last 21 London derbies on the road, and they have won six of their last seven against Spurs.
