Forest Aiming to Move Clear of Drop Zone
Sean Dyche’s Nottingham Forest will bid to put last weekend’s disappointment in the FA Cup behind them when they host Arsenal on Saturday.
The Tricky Trees ended a four-game losing run last time out, as they claimed a dramatic 2-1 win at relegation rivals West Ham. The win means that they have a seven-point advantage over the drop zone at this stage.
However, Forest still have offensive limitations, having scored just 1.00 goal per game from a low xG average of 1.46. Meanwhile, at the City Ground, they have kept clean sheets in just 10% of their fixtures, and have suffered six defeats in ten.

Gunners in Excellent Form
Arsenal’s form is showing no signs of slowing down, and they remain in contention for four major honors in 2025-26. The Gunners have recorded cup wins over Portsmouth and Chelsea in the last seven days, but they were held by Liverpool in their latest EPL outing.
That draw ended their four-game winning streak. But, Mikel Arteta’s side remain six points clear at the summit, and that advantage could be stretched to nine points depending on results this weekend.
Arteta has a selection of returning stars available, including Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. However, it could be worth noting that both of Arsenal’s Premier League defeats this season have been suffered on the road.

Nottingham Forest vs. Arsenal Picks
Nottingham Forest have suffered defeats in eight of their last ten Premier League matches against Arsenal.
Meanwhile, the Tricky Trees have lost six home matches this season, with only West Ham and Wolves losing more. The Gunners look like the obvious angle, and they could keep a clean sheet in their fourth straight fixture against Forest.
