- Man United have won three straight matches since Michael Carrick’s appointment
- Tottenham have avoided defeat in their last four in all competitions
In-form Man United will be hoping to close to within two points of the top three in the Premier League on Saturday when they host Tottenham.
Michael Carrick’s appointment has proven to be an inspired choice, as the Red Devils have won their last three games.
Tottenham’s inconsistent form ensures that they remain locked in the bottom half of the standings, but it is worth noting that they have avoided defeat in their last four.

Carrick Revolution to Continue
Carrick’s start to life at Old Trafford has been red-hot, winning back-to-back games against Man City and Arsenal, before producing a stunning late showing to overcome Fulham last Sunday.
United’s form has been questioned throughout the season, but they have now gone seven without defeat, and they are enjoying their longest winning run since February 2024.
Bruno Fernandes continues to be the man who makes United click, recording more assists in the EPL this term than any other player (12). United are likely to be without Mason Mount this week, while Patrick Dorgu is set to be out until April.

Frank Continues to Come Under Fire
Despite going four without defeat, and claiming a credible 2-2 draw against Man City last Sunday, Thomas Frank continues to come under pressure at Tottenham.
Spurs have failed to win in their last six in the EPL, losing two of their previous four. Dominic Solanke’s return to fitness could be a huge boost, with the striker scoring twice in last weekend’s draw against City.
Solanke’s record against United is also strong, scoring five in his last five. However, Spurs will need to show huge improvement defensively, with only Wolves and Burnley allowing more first-half goals than the North London club (18).

Man United vs. Tottenham Picks
Incredibly, United are winless in their last six EPL matches against Tottenham. That is a worrying trend ahead of this weekend. However, the newfound confidence in the United front line should be respected, especially against a defensively weak rival. Therefore, a fourth straight win for the Red Devils looks likely.
