Man City have lost ground on Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title over the last seven days after playing out back-to-back draws against Sunderland and Chelsea.
City's typical offensive quality has been lacking, scoring just once across their matches. However, their home form remains dominant, and it is worth acknowledging their strong midweek record in the Premier League.
City have recorded wins in 31 of their last 33 EPL fixtures played on a Wednesday, which includes victories in each of their last 22 played at the Etihad. However, defensive injuries to Dias and Gvardiol could leave them light in the back four.

Brighton have climbed to tenth in the Premier League standings over the festive period. The Seagulls have claimed four points from their last two matches, which include a recent, much-needed win at home against Burnley.
That win ended a six-game winless run, and it could give the Seagulls a platform to mount a European challenge in the second half of the campaign. However, defensively, Brighton have been weak on the road this season.
They have conceded at least two goals in each of their last three away matches, which includes two in a 2-2 draw against relegation-threatened West Ham.
