The fourth-round weekend in the FA Cup concludes on Feb 16, as non-league Macclesfield FC host Premier League Brentford at Moss Rose.
The Silkmen caused the greatest FA Cup in history in the third-round, beating current holders Crystal Palace. Replicating that feat will be a huge challenge for John Rooney’s side.
Brentford have enjoyed an excellent campaign under Keith Andrews, and a European push could be on the cards after playing out a 1-1 draw with Arsenal on Thursday.

Macclesfield FC will be chasing more FA Cup history this weekend. The Silkmen defied 117 places in the English pyramid to eliminate Crystal Palace in the previous round, making it the biggest upset of all-time.
The Silkmen’s form since their greatest day in history has been solid, winning each of their last three. Their attacking players have been excellent across that period, scoring ten goals.
However, it could be worth noting, given the difference in quality between these sides, that the Silkmen have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last six.

The job that Keith Andrews has done at Brentford since replacing Thomas Frank has been excellent, with the Bees riding high in seventh in the Premier League following a 1-1 draw against Arsenal on Thursday.
Brentford’s form has been solid since the middle of December, losing just two of their last eleven, and winning two of their previous three.
In the previous round of the FA Cup, the Bees easily overcame Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, winning 2-0 on the road.

A first meeting between these sides since Macclesfield’s 2-0 win in League Two in 2009 will be staged on Monday. However, these two sides are now at contrasting ends of the English pyramid.
Despite shocking the odds in the third round, Macclesfield’s dream run in the competition could come to an end against a well-drilled and professional Premier League opponent.
