LAFC In Excellent Form

Marc Dos Santos’ LAFC have made an exceptionally strong start to the 2026 season after winning each of their opening two.

Their start has only enhanced their prospects of being one of the standout contenders for the MLS Cup. LAFC opened the season with a dominant 3-0 win over Inter Miami, before they kept a second straight clean sheet in last weekend’s 2-0 win over Houston Dynamo.

Both of LAFC’s goals were scored in the second half, with Marco Delgado opening the scoring, before Stephen Eustaquio added the second.

Dallas Unbeaten in Opening Two Rounds

Positives can be taken from Eric Quili as FC Dallas have gone unbeaten across their opening two fixtures.

Petar Musa has been a standout star to this point, with the striker netting three in all competitions. Dallas landed a 3-2 win at home against Toronto on the opening day of the season, before they failed to break down the ten-men of Nashville in a 0-0 draw last weekend.

Their counter-attacking style of play failed to click in the tie, but that approach is expected once again in California on Saturday.

Possible Lineup
(4-4-2) Collodi (GK); Johansson, Ibeagha, Urhoghide, Moore; Delgado, Cappis, Kaick, Kamungo; Farrington, Musa
