Congo Progressing in CAF Region
DR Congo have progressed excellently in the CAF region across recent years, highlighted by their excellent recent qualifying display. Congo won eight of their 12 qualification fixtures, scoring 17 goals and conceding just seven.
Their performance levels have remained high throughout the winter, beating Benin and Botswana at AFCON, before exiting the competition after extra time against Algeria in the round of 16 stage.
Their attacking quality is worth studying this week, as the nation have scored 1.3 goals per international and have allowed just 0.3.

Jamaica Need to Show Improved Performance
It has been a challenging qualification campaign for Jamaica, with Steve McLaren dismissed as head coach after the nation were unable to secure an automatic berth at the World Cup.
A nervy performance followed in the playoff semi-final against lowly ranked New Caledonia, but Bailey Cadamarteri scored the crucial winner in the first half.
Confidence should be returning to the team following that win, as Jamaica have now won their last three without conceding, while they have kept clean sheets in each of their previous four internationals.

DR Congo vs. Jamaica Picks
Jamaica looked incredibly nervy in their semi-final clash last week, and they won’t be as fortunate against a very talented DR Congo. Therefore, the African nation look like the standout bet to reach this summer’s World Cup.
