Intense pressure will be on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, as the Gunners bid to get their campaign back on track following successive cup defeats when they host Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Arsenal’s hopes of a historic quadruple ended following losses against Man City and Southampton, but a victory over the Cherries on Saturday would take the Gunners 12 points clear at the Premier League summit.

Arsenal’s season remains on the cusp of implosion after suffering successive domestic cup exits against Man City in the EFL Cup and Southampton in the FA Cup.
However, the Gunners did bounce back in their most recent outing, as they scored late to gain a morale-boosting 1-0 win over Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League.
Arsenal’s advantage in the Premier League remains strong, as they sit nine points clear of Man City, despite having played a game more. The Gunners have also registered victories in each of their last four fixtures in the Premier League.

Bournemouth will still have European aspirations at this late stage of the Premier League season, despite sitting 13th in the current standings. The Cherries should be confident ahead of this clash after avoiding defeat in their last eleven EPL fixtures.
However, they have been held to draws in each of their previous six outings. Junior Kroupi has been one of the standout players for the Cherries this season, scoring nine times.
A goal on Saturday would see him become the first teenager since Robbie Keane in 1999-2000 to record ten goals in his first Premier League season.

Bournemouth’s unbeaten sequence will ensure that this is a tough challenge for the Gunners on Saturday. However, Arsenal’s excellent defensive record could be crucial, meaning that the preference is for the Gunners to record a win to nil.
