- Man United chasing rare back-to-back away wins in the Premier League
- Wolves remain bottom of the Premier League standings, accumulating just two points in 2025-26
The final match of the Premier League weekend is set for Monday, December 8, as struggling Wolves welcome Man United to Molineux. Find our picks here.
Wolves will be looking to avoid going down as the league’s worst ever team, but at this stage, it would be challenging to bet in favor of them bettering Derby County’s tally of eleven points from 2007-08.
Man United travel to the West Midlands in indifferent form, but they could end the weekend inside the European spots with a victory at Molineux.

Disappointing Wolves in Miserable Position
A change in management is doing little to enhance Wolves’ hopes of survival this term. Rob Edwards has overseen successive defeats in the Premier League, meaning that his side remain locked at the bottom of the standings.
Wolves are the only team across England’s top four divisions that are yet to win a game this season, and they have suffered defeats in each of their last five without scoring.
Their most recent defeat was suffered at home against Nottingham Forest, with Edwards’ side managing just a single shot on target against their relegation rivals.

United Showing Signs of Improvement
Man United are showing signs of improvement under Ruben Amorim this term, winning six of their 13 league matches.
The Red Devils could sit fifth by the time this game kicks off, and a victory could be enough to steer them into the Champions League spots. United ended a poor run on the road last weekend after claiming a 2-1 success over Crystal Palace.
That was their second win in seven on the road this season, but they have continued to hold an offensive threat in their away games after scoring 1.43 goals per game from an xG of 1.37. Former Wolves man, Matheus Cunha, could return for United on Monday.

Wolves vs. Man United Picks
Wolves have been hopeless throughout the Premier League season, as they have looked outclassed by almost every team in the competition.
Man United likely won’t need to be at their best to get maximum points on Monday, and we could see them scraping to a 2-0 win on the road.
