Like clockwork, another end to the summer months means that the start of a new fascinating Premier League campaign is upon us. Arne Slot’s Liverpool come into the campaign as the defending champions after winning their second EPL title in the Dutchman’s first year at the club.
There will also be an interesting battle to avoid the drop, with Sunderland and Leeds United spending big after joining Burnley in gaining promotion from the Championship. Find our Premier League outright picks here.

Premier League Outright Winner Picks
A fascinating race for the Premier League title looks likely in 2025-26, with Liverpool spending big over the summer with the additions of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Milos Kerkez.
However, Arsenal should be capable of going closer this term after filling a problem position with the signing of forward Viktor Gyokeres.
But, Man City have dangerously gone under the radar this summer, and the signings of Tijani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki could prove to be inspired moves. Led by one of the world’s greatest managers in Pep Guardiola, City look incredibly overpriced at the odds.

Premier League 2025-26 Top-Four Picks
There should be a gulf between the top three in the betting and the remainder this season, meaning Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal all look solid plays to finish in the top-four in 2025-26.
Chelsea should be capable of threatening a title challenge after adding high-quality attacking players in the forms of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap. However, I would still have reservations surrounding the number of goals that they will concede, as they still look a goalkeeper and central defender away from challenging.
Newcastle have endured a frustrating summer, losing out on top transfer targets to Premier League rivals. Furthermore, they could yet lose Alexander Isak before the deadline.
Manchester United should improve this term, but Ruben Amorim isn’t a miracle worker, and a top-six finish looks like a more sensible angle. Therefore, Chelsea should be the logical play to complete the top four in 2025-26.

Premier League 2025-26 Outright Relegation Picks
Promoted teams have struggled throughout recent Premier League history, but strong cases can be made for Sunderland and Leeds to avoid the drop this term. However, the same can’t be said of Burnley, who have already lost number one goalkeeper James Trafford to Manchester City.
With the money spent by two of the three promoted teams, it could put pressure on EPL mainstays that have underperformed in recent seasons. Wolves could be in trouble unless significant business is completed before the deadline, with star players Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha both departing the club.
Keith Andrews will face a daunting prospect in his first managerial role at Brentford, and their challenge to maintain their status could be made more difficult following the departure of Bryan Mbeumo.
However, the play I really like is West Ham to get relegated. The mood around the London Stadium is grim coming into the new campaign, and there is immediate pressure on Graham Potter to hit the ground running. They have already sold the influential Mohammed Kudus, meaning Jarrod Bowen is their only significant outlet for goals. Defensively, they struggled throughout 2024-25, and a slow start to the campaign could be costly in 2025-26.
