Following this weekend, all of the attention in the MLS will be on the playoffs.
However, two sides that will be able to relax on the final day, knowing that their playoff berths have already been secured, will lock horns. New York City have gone 17-11-5 in the Eastern Conference, while the Seattle Sounders are set to finish fifth in the Western Conference.

New York City FC will be aiming to end their consistent 2025 regular season on a high point this weekend.
NYC will be looking to get their form back on track on the final day of the campaign following a 1-0 road loss against Philadelphia at the start of October.
Despite that defeat, their form remains solid, as they have won four of their last six in the MLS. However, this will be their first home match since a 4-0 loss against Inter Miami on September 25.
It has already been an incredibly memorable season for the Seattle Sounders.
The franchise landed the Leagues Cup during the summer months, and their consistency has continued back in the MLS after securing their playoff spot with a few games to spare. The Sounders have won 14 of their 33 regular season matches this term, and they boast one of the best attacking records in the Western Conference after netting 56 goals.
Seattle have recorded victories in their last two matches, which includes a recent success against Real Salt Lake on Saturday evening.

Both the Seattle Sounders and New York City will have bigger fish to fry as the season progresses, meaning that neither will take chances on some of their star players this weekend.
Therefore, this could be a very entertaining final regular season match of the campaign on Saturday. We could foresee both teams scoring in the Big Apple, but the narrow preference on the money line is for the Sounders.
