A busy round of Premier League action is set for this coming weekend, including a fascinating Man City vs. Leeds clash at the Etihad. Pep Guardiola’s side will be a prominent selection among bettors making picks.
Leeds come into this round with a point to prove following a run of three successive defeats. Meanwhile, they have suffered losses in four of their last five, and seven of their 12 league matches in 2025-26.
Man City’s inconsistency is having a negative impact on their title challenge, having lost two of their previous three in the league. But, the former champions are relatively solid at the Etihad Stadium.

Questions were asked of Pep Guardiola following a gamble to make ten first-team changes backfired in the Champions League against Bayer Leverkusen.
The defeat means that City have now lost their last two across all competitions, having previously been shocked by Newcastle last weekend. City have been very consistent at the Etihad Stadium this season, winning five of their six matches, and netting a staggering 2.67 goals per game.
Boyhood Leeds United fan, Erling Haaland, has been the team’s star man in 2025-26, netting 19 goals in all competitions.

The pressure is rising on Daniel Farke at this stage of the season, with the coach facing fresh questions surrounding his long-term future. Leeds have endured a poor run of form, losing each of their last three, and four of their last five.
Only Wolves have scored fewer goals than the Whites so far this term, and only a positive result in Manchester will take them out of the relegation places.
However, Leeds have struggled at the highest level on the road this season, losing five of their six away matches. Most worryingly, they have conceded 2.5 goals per game, and have failed to score in 67% of their away fixtures.

Man City’s home record against Leeds United is far from perfect, having won just half of the last eight league meetings. However, Leeds United’s poor defensive record is hard to ignore this weekend, meaning that the best value could come in the form of the spread.
