The race for a playoff spot in the Western Conference continues this weekend, as FC Dallas chase a second successive victory against the LA Galaxy.
Only a victory will keep Dallas in charge of their own destiny, as they currently sit eighth in the conference standings with two games to play. However, a victory for the away team this Saturday will see them move into the top seven spots. You can find our picks for the season-defining clash here.

A potentially season-defining clash is set for this weekend for FC Dallas. They come into this round of matches sitting eighth in the Western Conference standings, and only a victory this Saturday will see them move level on points with seventh-placed Portland Timbers. A defeat will likely mean that they will drop into the wild-card round in the playoffs.
Dallas have recorded two victories across their last three matches, which includes a 2-1 success against the Galaxy last weekend.
The Galaxy went ahead through Diego Fagundez's effort after just four minutes, but Dallas turned the game on its head before the half time interval following efforts from Petar Musa and Patrickson Delgado.
LA Galaxy have already fallen out of playoff contention this season, and they look set to end the campaign at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Furthermore, they have suffered defeats in each of their last two matches across all competitions.
FC Dallas looked to play on the counter-attack in last weekend's victory against the Galaxy, and a similar approach is likely this Saturday.
