Lionel Messi's Inter Miami have been the favorites for MLS Cup glory throughout the campaign, and they showcased their quality with a straightforward 4-0 win over FC Cincinnati on Sunday.
Meanwhile, NYC will bring momentum into this round following a stunning win in the previous round to overcome Philadelphia.

It could be argued that Inter Miami are peaking at the perfect stage of the season.
Javier Mascherano's side produced one of their best displays of the season in the previous round, as they hammered FC Cincinnati 4-0 away from home. Inter dominated the ball, and pulled clear of their opponents in the second period after netting three goals in 25 minutes.
Messi was once again at the heart of the team, scoring the opener, and having a hand in two of the second half efforts.

New York City have enjoyed an excellent run to the conference finals this season.
They defied expectations in the previous round to overcome Philadelphia. NYC appeared happy to play without the ball, and they constantly looked to hit their opponents on the counter-attack. Their only effort was scored in the opening 30 minutes, with Maximiliano Moralez producing the moment of magic in the 27th minute.
A similar approach is likely in Miami this weekend, and they will aim to be clinical when creating chances on the counter.

This will be a fascinating showdown in the Eastern Conference finals. New York's defensive record deserves huge respect, and they have the tactical know-how to make this a stern test for Inter.
We like their chances of winning this game, as their counter-attack style could be perfect against an aging Inter midfield, which lacks mobility.
