Inter Miami remain among the leading contenders to win the MLS Cup this season. Lionel Messi's side look set to end the regular season in third place in the Eastern Conference, having gone 17-7-8 during the campaign.
Miami were at their very best in their previous outing, as they stormed to a 4-1 home success against New England. Jordi Alba and Tadeo Allende both netted braces in that success, while Messi once again starred with a couple of assists.
It has been a disappointing campaign for Atlanta United, and they could yet end the campaign at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. Atlanta have gone 5-15-12 in the MLS in 2025, and a defeat on Saturday could give D.C. United an opportunity to overtake them.
United have failed to register a win in their last four matches in the MLS, and they were most recently beaten 1-0 by LAFC on Sunday. That defeat means that United have now failed to score in each of their last two fixtures.
Inter Miami will be without a couple of their main stars this week due to the October international break. However, they should still have few issues in gaining maximum points against a weak opponent in the MLS. The home win is hard to bet against when making Inter Miami vs. Atlanta United picks.
