- Crystal Palace have suffered successive defeats in the EPL
- Tottenham dropped to 14th in the standings following a loss against Liverpool
Huge pressure will be on Thomas Frank this weekend, as his Tottenham side look for a return to winning ways after losing their last two. Crystal Palace will have the home field advantage, but could they be the solid angle when making picks?
Spurs have been inconsistent throughout the season, and it remains unclear whether progression has been made following a dismal campaign in 2024-25.
The Eagles have looked fatigued in recent weeks, losing each of their last two. Over that period, they have conceded seven goals, and they have dropped to eighth in the EPL standings.

Eagles Aiming for Return to Form
Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace had been on course for a shock Champions League challenge a couple of weeks ago, but back-to-back defeats have seen them drop to eighth in the standings.
The Eagles have shipped seven goals in those fixtures, with both coming after midweek clashes in Europe. Palace will once again have a midweek fixture before this Tottenham clash, and that could be damaging to their chances.
Their home form this season has been slightly underwhelming, winning just two of their eight at Selhurst Park, and scoring 1.13 goals per game.

Spurs in Worrying Form
The 2025-26 season has continued as the 2024-25 campaign ended for Tottenham. Spurs have been inconsistent at both ends of the field, and their defensive weakness has been a key reason for them sitting down in 14th in the league standings.
Last weekend’s 2-1 home loss against Liverpool highlighted their defensive issues, while ill discipline was also apparent after seeing Romero and Simmons sent off.
But, Tottenham’s away form has been slightly more reliable than their record at home, winning four of their eight fixtures, and scoring 1.88 goals per game.

Crystal Palace vs. Tottenham Picks
Crystal Palace have avoided defeat in their last two against Spurs, while the inconsistent nature of the visitors is also hard to ignore. Therefore, a draw could be an interesting betting angle. Palace have played out ties in four of their eight fixtures at Selhurst Park in 2025-26.
