- Chelsea have failed to win in their last four matches in all competitions
- Everton have climbed to seventh in the EPL after winning four of their last five
Enzo Maresca will have questions to answer this weekend, as Chelsea host Everton after failing to win in their last four competitive fixtures. You can find the odds and picks here.
It has been a miserable run of form for the Blues, going three without a win in the EPL to drop to fifth. Last weekend, the team played out an uneventful 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.
David Moyes will take plenty of positives from Everton’s recent performances, winning four of their last five to move within two points of the Champions League spots in the Premier League standings.

Pressure Mounting on Stuttering Blues
Chelsea were regarded as potential title contenders a month ago, but now it appears as though a Champions League finish will be their primary aim.
The Blues have been underwhelming in recent weeks, losing two of their last three in all competitions, and going three without a win in the EPL.
A lot of the team’s issues stem from Maresca’s decisions, as the coach has constantly opted to make changes to the defensive line. That was ultimately their undoing in the midweek UCL loss against Atalanta.
It could also be worth noting that the Blues have won just 43% of their home matches in the Premier League so far this season.

Toffees on a Hot Streak
Everton will be the visitors to Stamford Bridge on Saturday, as they go in search of a third straight victory, and a fifth win in six.
David Moyes’ side have won three of their last four matches without conceding, which includes a famous win at Old Trafford against Man United at the end of November.
Last weekend, their offensive players sparkled in a 3-0 home win over Nottingham Forest.
The bright moment of the game was produced by Thierno Barry, who netted his first goal for the Toffees in the success. Their defensive resilience will give them an excellent chance of upsetting the odds in London on Saturday.

Chelsea vs. Everton Picks
Everton have failed to win on their last 35 trips to Stamford Bridge across all competitions.
That is a trend that is extremely challenging to overlook this weekend, despite the Toffees’ improved recent performances.
There is likely to be nerves within the Chelsea team following their recent run of form, but we could foresee them getting over the line with a narrow 2-0 success.
