There will be little festive cheer around the Vitality Stadium on Dec 20, as Burnley and Bournemouth collide with both sides aiming to end winless streaks. Find our picks here.
The Cherries were involved in one of the games of the season on Monday, as they shared eight goals with Man United at Old Trafford. However, despite the draw, they have now failed to win in their last seven in the league.
There will also be pressure on Burnley on Saturday, as the Clarets have dropped to 19th in the league standings after losing their previous seven EPL fixtures.

Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth continue to be one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the Premier League this season. However, their sharp dip in form will be a minor concern, as the have failed tow in in their last seven.
However, being back at the Vitality Stadium should suit their chances after winning four of their five fixtures this term in front of their own fans.
Bournemouth played out a thriller against Man United on Monday, coming from behind to take a 3-2 lead, before fighting back in the closing stages to rescue a point in the 4-4 at Old Trafford.

Scott Parker’s Burnley have endured a sharp drop in form, suffering defeats in each of their last seven. That run of form sees them come into this round of fixtures sitting 19th in the standings.
Last weekend, they were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Fulham in an entertaining encounter at Turf Moor. They have at least shown attacking threat in their run of defeats, scoring in four of their last six.
However, Burnley have been beaten in seven of their eight fixtures on the road in 2025-26. Over that period, they have conceded an average of 2.88 goals per game, and they are yet to keep a clean sheet in an away fixture.

Bournemouth will be a short price this weekend, and they could be vulnerable against a Burnley side that may be well suited to playing on the counter-attack this weekend.
Despite winning just once on the road this term, the Clarets have averaged 1.38 goals per game, which is more than they have accumulated on the road. Furthermore, Burnley have won four of their last seven away fixtures against the Cherries. There could be value in the away win.
