Golden Knights Aiming to Avoid Third Defeat

The Vegas Golden Knights have stuttered in their recent outings, suffering losses in each of their last two.

However, they still boast an incredibly positive overall record, going 25-14-13. Meanwhile, Vegas have won six of their last ten and they have one of the best defensive records in the Pacific Division.

But, they were edged out earlier this week after losing against the Montreal Canadiens in overtime. That loss means that they have now allowed ten goals in their last two.

Stars in Consistent Form

The Dallas Stars appear to be making their move in the NHL, and they have been incredibly positive in their recent outings.

They come into this round after winning five of their last ten, while only the Central Division-leading Colorado Avalanche have scored more goals in the division.

Dallas continued their excellent record on the road earlier this week, as they landed a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues. Matt Duchene was a standout scorer, netting twice from three shots. Meanwhile, Jason Robertson ended the night with two assists.

Stars vs. Golden Knights Picks

Vegas have underperformed in recent games, and their poor defensive record could make them vulnerable in this matchup. Therefore, the narrow edge is given to the free-scoring Stars at the T-Mobile Arena.
