The Panthers have struggled for a consistent run of wins in recent weeks, but they come into this home game on Monday after a victory over the weekend.
San Jose have enjoyed great success over the last month, and that is reflected in their recent record, winning seven of their last ten.

There is still a long way to go in the NHL this season, but the current Atlantic Division standings don’t make for good reading for the reigning champions.
The Florida Panthers currently sit seventh in the table, and they have won just five of their last ten.
Over the same period, they have suffered four regulation time defeats. It has been a mixed period for the Panthers, as they lost 9-1 on the road against the Carolina Hurricanes last week, before responding with a professional 5-2 road win over the Washington Capitals over the weekend.

It could be argued that the San Jose Sharks bring the better recent form into this clash. San Jose sit fourth in the Pacific Division, and they have registered wins in seven of their last ten games.
However, they will be on the comeback trail on Monday following a 4-2 loss against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday.
Despite that loss, the Sharks have been in strong offensive form over the last week, scoring 12 goals in their last four games.
