While the Super Bowl LX matchup may be set, the race for playoff spots in the NHL continues on Jan 27. The San Jose Sharks will be on the road when they face the Vancouver Canucks.
Vancouver have struggled for wins throughout the season, and they currently sit bottom of the Pacific Division after losing their last two.
Meanwhile, the Sharks sit in the prominent position of fourth in the Pacific Division, and they will be aiming to record back-to-back wins on Tuesday.

This is already likely a season that the Vancouver Canucks will be wishing would end sooner rather than later.
They have struggled throughout the campaign, amassing an overall record of 17-30-5. The Canucks have also shown defensive issues throughout the season, allowing a Western Conference-high of 191 goals.
Momentum is also against Vancouver, as they come into this home clash after suffering nine regulation time defeats in their last ten. They were edged out by the Pittsburgh Penguins in their latest outing.
It has been a contrasting season for the San Jose Sharks, as they are in a prominent position to challenge for a playoff spot in the Pacific Division.
They come into this round sitting fourth in the standings, achieving an overall record of 26-21-3. But, they have shown inefficiency in scoring, netting just 156 goals, which ranks among the lowest of the teams in the playoff challenge.
However, the Sharks will take confidence from their recent form, winning six of their last ten. San Jose were professional in their latest outing, beating the NY Rangers 3-1 over the weekend.

There is little to like about Vancouver’s performances in the NHL this season, with the inability to defend and score being major worries. Therefore, the road win for the Sharks appears to be the most logical play when making picks.
