Huge Week Ahead for Sharks
A massive week awaits the San Jose Sharks in their bid to finish in the Western Conference playoffs. They currently sit fifth in the Pacific Division, but the Sharks are within striking distance of the teams above them in the standings, despite having lost five of their last ten in regulation.
A massive defeat was suffered over the weekend, as the Sharks were beaten 6-3 by the Nashville Predators. San Jose failed to start the game effectively, conceding three in the opening period. Nick Leddy and Alex Wannberg were two of the only positive performers, with both netting goals.

Blackhawks Chasing Successive Wins
Jeff Blashill's Chicago are fighting for nothing more than pride at this late stage of the season, as their quest to finish in the playoff spots is already over.
The Blackhawks have performed respectfully on their travels, going 14-18-6, meaning that they have recorded one more win on the road than they have at home. Chicago showed their offensive quality in their latest outing, as they registered a 4-2 road win against the Seattle Kraken. Ilya Mikheyev and Sacha Boisvert both scored goals in the win. However, following up on victories has been a continued issue for the Blackhawks throughout the campaign.

San Jose Sharks vs. Chicago Blackhawks Picks
The Blackhawks will be confident after a recent win, but we struggle to foresee them registering back-to-back victories. The Sharks look like the logical play after winning 58% of their previous home games against Chicago.
