Playoff rivals in the Eastern Conference lock horns on March 19, as the Montreal Canadiens travel to the Detroit Red Wings.
Detroit sit fifth in the Atlantic Division, and they are chasing a second straight win. Meanwhile, the Habs will be looking to record a sixth win in their last eleven games.
Todd McLellan’s Red Wings have been reliable throughout the season, and they could be an outstanding chance to achieve a playoff finish in their first full season under the new head coach.
Detroit have gone 37-23-8 overall this term, winning 19 of their games at Little Caesars Arena. Confidence levels should be high following a free-scoring win over the Calgary Flames on Monday.
