Boston have struggled for consistency throughout the season to this point, and they currently sit seventh in the Atlantic Division following a run of three wins in their last eleven games.
Meanwhile, the Rangers have fared slightly better in terms of wins over the same period. But, they also remain toward the bottom of their respective division.
It has been far from a smooth opening to the season for Marco Sturm as the new head coach of the Bruins.
Boston have struggled for consistency throughout the campaign, and their home record would certainly be a concern. The Bruins have gone 12-8-1 at TD Garden, and they are staring down the barrel of missing out on a playoff spot for a second straight season.
Boston’s standout player has been David Pastrnak, who leads the team with 48 points. Meanwhile, Morgan Geekie has been the standout scorer, netting an impressive 25 goals so far in 2025-26.

Another new coach who has struggled to adjust to NHL action is Mike Sullivan, with the NY Rangers currently sitting seventh in the Metropolitan Division.
But, plenty of confidence can be gained from the team’s record on the road, as they have gone 14-6-1. Therefore, they have accumulated nine more victories on their travels than they have at Madison Square Garden in 2025-26.
The Rangers could yet salvage their campaign, as a run of wins would put them straight back into playoff contention.

The Rangers' road record could be an interesting angle worth following this weekend. They have been reliable on the road, while the Bruins have struggled to win at TD Garden. Therefore, the value on the moneyline could be for the visitors this Saturday.
