- Boston Bruins have gone 8-2-0 across their last ten
- Nashville Predators have struggled for consistency after going 5-5-0 in ten
While the Super Bowl LX matchup may be set, there is still a long way to go in the NHL season. Competitive action is set for TD Garden on Jan 27, as the Boston Bruins host the Nashville Predators.
Boston bring excellent recent form into this clash, having won each of their last two, and they have claimed victories in eight of their previous ten.
There will be questions for the Predators to answer after stuttering for form in their last ten, winning and losing on five occasions.
DATE & TIME
Bruins in Excellent Form
It has been an important run in the season for the Boston Bruins, as victories in eight of their last ten games have seen them improve to an overall record of 30-20-2.
Boston now sit fifth in the Atlantic Division, but a victory on Tuesday could see them climb to as high as third in the standings.
Once again, Boston’s offensive players caught the eye over the weekend, as they landed a 4-3 home success against the Montreal Canadiens. Charlie McAvoy was a constant presence, ending the night with three assists.
Inconsistency Holding Preds Back
The Nashville Predators will be on the road this week, as they bid to rediscover their consistency.
Nashville have gone 5-5-0 across their last ten, which leaves them with a slender overall winning record of 24-23-4. The Preds have struggled defensively throughout the season, highlighted by the fact that only the St. Louis Blues have allowed more goals.
Nashville’s latest game ended in defeat, as they were well beaten at home by the Utah Mammoth over the weekend, going down 5-2.

Predators vs. Bruins Picks
The Predators have been defensively weak throughout the season, and they are unlikely to get away with that in Boston. The Bruins have been in excellent recent form and they look like good value to maintain their red-hot sequence at TD Garden.
