Two teams that will be aiming for a return to form will collide in the NHL on Jan 19, as the Seattle Kraken host the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It has been a damaging period for Seattle, as they have suffered losses in their last three games. Despite that run of results, they remain third in the Pacific Division standings.
Meanwhile, Pittsburgh come into this clash following a recent loss. However, they have registered wins in six of their last ten games.

There will be increased pressure on the Seattle Kraken this week, as they bid to snap a three-game losing run and get their playoff challenge back on track.
However, one of the most concerning factors surrounding their recent performances has been their poor defensive record. The Kraken have allowed ten goals in their last two defeats, with their latest loss coming on the road against the Utah Mammoth.
Seattle were also beaten in their latest home game, as they went down in overtime against the Minnesota Wild.

There will also be pressure on the Pittsburgh Penguins this week, as they chase a return to winning ways following a loss in their latest outing.
Pittsburgh were beaten in overtime over the weekend, as they were edged out by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Their recent form can also be questioned, as the Penguins have won just one of their last five games.
But, it could be worth noting that two of their last three defeats have come in shootouts. Fatigue could impact their chances, just as it would a team in the NFL, according to the Super Bowl betting guide.

Being back at the Climate Pledge Arena will be a boost for the Kraken on Monday. Pittsburgh could be fatigued after being taken to overtime in two of their last three games. Therefore, the preference is for the home win.
