- St. Louis Blues have lost five on the bounce and remain bottom of the Central Division
- Florida Panthers have gone 6-4-0 and sit sixth in the Atlantic Division
The Florida Panthers will be on the road in the NHL this week, as they travel to Enterprise Center to take on the St. Louis Blues on Jan 29.
Florida have won six of their last ten in the Eastern Conference, but the reigning Stanley Cup champions only sit sixth in the Atlantic Division.
Momentum has been an issue for the Blues throughout the campaign, and that has continued in recent weeks after losing their last five.
DATE & TIME
Blues Underperforming in NHL
This season has been an underwhelming campaign for the St. Louis Blues. They are bottom of the Central Division, and have accumulated a losing 19-25-9 record.
Wins have continued to be an issue in recent weeks, going 2-7-1 over their last ten, and suffering defeats in each of their previous five.
Last time out, the Blues suffered a 4-3 loss against the Dallas Stars, with that defeat meaning that they have now allowed 20 goals in their last five.

Panthers Moving Menacingly Into Playoff Hunt
It is always dangerous to bet against the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions.
They are making their move for the playoff places based on their recent form in the NHL, winning six of their last ten. Despite issues surrounding their consistency, the Panthers have still amassed a winning 28-21-3 record in the Eastern Conference this season.
But, they will need to respond this week following a loss against the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday. The Panthers were defensively weak in the 4-3 loss, allowing the crucial two goals in the final frame.

Panthers vs. Blues Picks
The Blues have underperformed throughout the season, and that will make them a hard team to trust.
However, the fact that they have an excellent head-to-head record against the Panthers and have won 58% of their previous home games against Florida could make them a value play to upset the odds.
