- Edmonton Oilers have won three successive games in the NHL
- Seattle Kraken aiming to bounce back from a recent defeat
Western Conference action is set for the NHL on March 31, as the Seattle Kraken bid to end a poor run of form when they travel to the Edmonton Oilers.
The Oilers have been in excellent recent form after winning their previous three, and a fourth straight victory this week would put them within striking distance of the Anaheim Ducks at the Pacific Division summit.
DATE & TIME
Oilers in Strong Offensive Form
Kris Knoblauch’s Edmonton Oilers bid to keep faith with the Anaheim Ducks in the Pacific Division this week, as they chase a fourth straight win. The Oilers have gone 37-28-9 overall this season, which includes a dominant home advantage of 19-13-4 at Rogers Place.
Their strong run of results continued over the weekend, as they eased to a 4-2 home win over the Anaheim Ducks. Three of their four goals were scored in the final period, with Matthew Savoie and Zach Hyman both getting among the scorers.
Kraken Fading in Playoff Contention
There will be increased pressure on the Seattle Kraken this weekend, as the franchise bid to reignite their hopes of a playoff finish. Seattle currently sit fifth in the Pacific Division, but they have lost form in their last ten after winning on just three occasions and suffering five defeats in regulation time.
They were edged out in a shootout in their latest outing, as they were beaten in Buffalo by the Sabres.

Edmonton Oilers vs. Seattle Kraken Picks
The Kraken have underperformed on the road in recent games, and that is a major concern ahead of this trip to Edmonton. Therefore, the preference is for the red-hot Oilers to record a fourth straight win.
