DATE & TIME
Leafs Enduring Disaster Season
This season has been nothing short of a disaster for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they look set to miss out on a playoff spot. Craig Berube’s side have at least boasted a winning record at the Scotiabank Arena, going 17-11-7.
However, their overall form shows their limitations after losing five of their last ten in regulation, and winning just twice over the same period.
But, a glimmer of hope can be taken from their latest outing, beating the Minnesota Wild 4-2. Benoit Oliver Groulx was a standout performer in that win, scoring twice.

New York have been one of the best defensive teams in the Metropolitan Division, allowing just 191 goals. The Islanders have been effective on their travels this season, going 20-13-3.
Mathew Barzal has been a standout performer, scoring a team-high 60 points. Simon Holmstrom netted twice in the recent 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames.
