Western Conference action from the NHL is slated for March 20, as Pacific Division-leading Anaheim Ducks travel to Utah Mammoth.
The Ducks will be hoping to bounce back following a recent defeat, while the Mammoth will have their sights on a second straight win to enhance their playoff chances.
The Utah Mammoth are enjoying a competitive season in the Western Conference, and they come into the upcoming round sitting fourth in the Central Division.
Utah have recorded four wins in their last ten, suffering the same number of losses in regulation time. Earlier this week, they powered to a dominant 6-3 win on the road against the Dallas Stars.
Being back in front of their own fans will also be a key factor to consider on Friday, as the Mammoth have gone 18-11-3 at the Delta Center.
A playoff finish remains in sight for the Anaheim Ducks at this stage of the season, as the franchise have gone 36-27-3 in the NHL this term.
Joel Quenneville's side will need to bounce back on Friday, as they were edged out in overtime by the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this week.
However, it could be worth noting that the Ducks have shown weakness on the road, going 14-17-2. That is an inferior stat compared to their home record, after going 22-10-1 at the Honda Center.
