The red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning will be bidding to secure a 12th straight win in the NHL on Jan 16 when they travel to the St. Louis Blues.

The Lightning have been impressive on their travels this season, going 15-4-3. Tampa held their nerve in a shootout to extend their winning run earlier this week, as they were able to overcome the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The trends indicate that this game on the road should play to their strengths, and they will be challenging to oppose.

The St. Louis Blues will have faint hopes of finishing in a playoff spot in the Western Conference this season.
However, they will take confidence after landing a much-needed win in their latest outing. Despite the victory, the Blues remain seventh in the Central Division, and they have an overall losing record this season.
Playing at home has resulted in limited success to this point, winning eleven, but also suffering nine defeats in regulation.
