Competitive Western Conference action is set for Jan 17, as the Seattle Kraken travel to the Utah Mammoth.
It has been a fine run of form for the Utah Mammoth, as they have recorded wins in each of their last two to sit fourth in the Central Division standings.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Kraken are currently third in the Pacific Division, but they will need to respond following defeats in their last two.
Winning form is a key trend for success in the NHL, just as it is in the NFL, making it a notable stat to consider according to the Super Bowl betting guide.
The Mammoth come into this round of games after winning back-to-back clashes, while they have also recorded victories in six of their last ten. Their latest win was a hard-fought 2-1 home success against the Dallas Stars on Thursday.
Home advantage has been a key strength for the Mammoth this season, going 13-7-2 at Delta Center.
The Seattle Kraken also rank as a leading chance in the playoff race this term, but there will be a requirement for them to bounce back to form.
Seattle have suffered defeats in their last two games, but they remain third in the Central Division. The Kraken have won five of their last ten, while only the Vegas Golden Knights have suffered fewer regulation time losses in the division this season.
The Kraken were emphatically beaten by the Boston Bruins in their latest outing, conceding twice in the opening frame of the 4-2 loss.

Utah have shown excellent form in recent games, and they appear to hit their stride at a key point. Interestingly, each of the four head-to-head matches between these sides have been won by the team playing at home. That trend could be worth following on Saturday.
